The
Norwich Terrier is a loveable breed with a tremendously
active and hardy constitution.
Head:
The
mouth is tightlipped, the jaws clean and strong, and the
rather large teeth are strong also. The ears on the Norwich
are erect and set well apart on top of the skull, and the
expressive eyes are small, dark, bright, and keen.
Coat:
The
hard, wiry coat which lies close to the body has a thick
undercoat and on the neck forms a ruff, which frames the
face.
Colors:
Red
(all shades); wheaten; black/tan; grizzle
Temperament:
Gay
and fearless, the standard for both breeds tells enthusiasts
that honorable scars from fair wear and tear and not to be
unduly penalized.
