The Westie is compact and short coupled

Muzzle blunt; Medium-sized, almond-shaped eyes; Head appears round; Small, erect, pointed ears

Tail:

Relatively short, carrot-shaped tail, carried gaily but not over back

Color:

White

Size:

Weight: 15-21 lb; Height: male: 11”; female: 10”

Coat:

A harsh double coat

Temperament:

Busy, happy, curious and always in the thick of things
